The Board of Directors meeting scheduled for February 2, 2012 has been canceled. The next Board of Directors meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at WETA, Pier 9, Suite 111, San Francisco, CA 94111.

Background

As directed by the enabling legislation, the WETA's Board is comprised of five members for a term of six years. The Chair and Vice Chair of the Board are appointed by the Governor.

Members are appointed as follows:

• (3) members appointed by the Governor
• (1) member appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules
• (1) member appointed by the Assembly Committee on Rules
