Emergency Water Transportation System Management Plan

Created by the California State Legislature, WETA is a regional agency with a multi-county jurisdiction. The WETA is charged with developing an Emergency Water Transportation System Management Plan for water transportation services in the Bay Area region in the event that bridges, highways, and other facilities are rendered wholly or significantly inoperable.

Per SB 1093 , WETA shall create and adopt this plan on or before 01 July 2009.
